Catherine Richardson is Professor of Early Modern Studies and Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Arts and Humanities, University of East Anglia. Her research focuses on material culture and the history of the creative industries.

She will speak on

Shakespeare’s Objects: Exploring the Off-Stage Lives of Early Modern Properties

The talk promises to be a riveting session on the material world of Shakespeare, where his plays were experienced as a rich mixture of objects, language, spaces and actors’ bodies, before they became a part of the textual world.
